Liaison Officer

Mr. Sinto is a highly motivated and experienced development and communications practitioner with over a decade of hands-on experience in local development, Public Education Campaigns (PEC) and Research. He has delivered multiple successful campaigns and research assignments, from organizations including the Upper West Regional Peace Council, Plan International Ghana Action Aid Ghana and Ghana Statistical Service (GSS).

Mr. Sinto brings to the team a desirable practical knowledge in community mobilisation and development work cutting through various sectors including but not limited to the participation of the vulnerable in development, social interventions on health, education, gender and women empowerment, enhancing the functionality of local government structures at the Assemblies’ level, good governance & accountability and child rights.

He has been instrumental in the successful implementation of many projects in Northern Ghana funded by the Government of Ghana (GoG) and donor agencies. They include among others the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) and the Resilience In Northern Ghana I (RING I) by USAID. He equally provided leadership in the successful implementation of the 2021 Population and Housing Census in the Sissala East Municipal funded by GoG through GSS among other partners.

Mr. Sinto holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Policy and Planning, Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) Degree in Integrated Development Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Administration. He has many other certifications including a certificate in e-Governance and Pre-Certification Training Programme for National Trainers for Censuses and Surveys.

Mr. Sinto is results oriented, a team manager, an active listener and an assertive communicator with an inherent ability to learn and adapt to new environment.
